SIS has established and documented a Quality Assurance System in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Standard. The Quality Assurance System is administrated through written policy, procedures, and instructions. Written instruction is provided to cover work, inspection, and test instructions for individual products.

Where deemed necessary, special operational and quality control procedures are developed for functional activities that have an effect on product/service quality. Quality Records are generated through the implementation of the Quality Assurance System, to provide objective evidence of compliance and to measure the effectiveness of the system.

Our goal is to have zero fatalities and no incidents that harm people or create an unsafe environment.

Our Mission is to educate all members of the Organization to accept Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures that prevent human suffering and economic losses arising from preventable causes.

We are committed to the highest standards in HEALTH, SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT.All our leadership team members are personally endorsing our corporate HSE policy statement. The HSE policy specifies the absolute necessity of providing a safe and healthy working environment to all employees.

The individual responsibility of every member in the organization is to maintain optimum level of workplace safety and accident-free activity. Each employee is mandated to understand and adapt to the organizational safety culture and to put into practice the individual safety responsibilities. Our management system is fully integrated with OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.

Training And InitIatives

Several types of trainings are continuously provided such as New Employee’s Indoctrination, Safety orientation, and Refresher trainings as per the Annual Training Calendar.

New training packages developed were ‘I chose to look the other way (Behaviour based presentation)’, “Working at height’, ‘Behaviour Based Safety for Organisational Excellence’, ‘Work Permits – An Efficient System for Accident Control’, ‘Hand and Power Tool Safety’ and ‘Office Safety’.

Some Training was offered through external consultants such as OHSAS 18001:2007 Foundation Training and OHSAS 18001:2007 Internal Auditor Course. Seventeen of our staffs were certified as OHSAS 18001:2007 HSEMS Internal Auditors.

A total of 5080 man-hours were utilized for training purpose. Documentation of training was maintained to verify the employee received the proper training and to sustain regular attendance and identified absentees who need follow up training.
